Who We Are
The West Africa Center for Global Environmental & Occupational Health has faculty with broad range of expertise in providing solutions to challenges associated with economic production sectors in the West and Central Africa region including, environmental degradation, exposures and air pollution, waste generation and the impacts on human health.
The broad goals of the West Africa Center for Global Environmental & Occupational Health are to address the complex health and socioeconomic development challenges presented at the intersection between the ongoing unsustainable natural resources extraction/exploitation, climate-change, land degradation, agriculture, urbanization, increased human-animal/wildlife interaction and environmental deterioration/pollution in West and Central Africa region.
